Here in the Lutheran church, all are welcome to be baptized!
The Baptism of Infants & Children shows us the full reach of the grace of God, which we don't have to understand or earn. If you would like your child baptized, please reach out to the church office! The Pastor will schedule a meeting with you and 2 Godparents, of your choosing, to talk about the meaning of baptism and schedule a date.
Adults wishing to be baptized are welcome to reach out to the church office for a meeting with the pastor, who will talk with you about the meaning of Baptism. You will pick two sponsors, who will be spiritual mentors to you, and schedule the date of the Baptism.
We believe Baptism is a sacrament, a free gift of God, offering us a tangible sign of the hidden grace and love of God. In this Baptism, God promises the forgiveness of sins, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. There are no membership or cost requirements - this is a free gift to you!
